Now that I have finished my project. I thought it would be a good idea to create a website that would inform my customers about the benefits of using Putt Potential, learn a bit more about my journey in building this platform and act as an access point for individuals to get in contact with me.
I have prior experiece in designing landing pages for profucts due to the work I have do with my start up Handicaddie as well as designing my own portfolio website. For this task I drew upon these skills to build a promotional website for this project.
I started out by designing a a quick wireframe of the landing page on XD. This landing page will consist of:
This will give user quick overview of what app is, including a mock up of the app as well as encouraging users to explore the website further.
As my app will be available on both platforms, I will need to provide easy to find links for my app to be downloaded.
A brief summary of how the app will work using visual queues to help explain it
A short description of how key feactures will help golfers in their mission to improve putting. I will also provide an option to read more about each feature.
I will use some of the feedback I got on from my usability testing as a method of encouraging people to download the app.
As I am only starting out a contact section is a great way to get emails and update my new customers about updates on progress, business news as well building a community of early adopters that will avail of an exclusive discount.
Having an FAQ section will help to giver customers an answer to common questions about the product that they may have and offload the job of me having to constantly answe the same questions.
Using a wireframe like this will act as a guide and help me build a high res prototype of my promotional website. I want this landing page to be simple but effective giving the users the information that they are looking for straight away.
